That is what my 14 year old daughter told my eleven year old daughter (the vegetarian).  I laughed, so they are both mad at me.  I asked the older one why she said that, her reply – “Everyone knows that”

I have 2 blogs, on for my business and this one.  My other blog gets hardly any spam, happily.  Can’t say the same about this blog.  I have 79 new comments in my spam folder today.  Here are some highlights:

- about 50 of them are for cialis or viagra. One however, is for viagra soft tabs.  I thought that the whole point of viagra was to eliminate that…

- Sandra is looking for information on  Ashton Kutcher, what rectifiers do, what one armed people can do for fun, and felix the cat.  Very naughty.

- Vilya is interested in wild party pics, levi jean sizing chart and nasty girls!

I had very sketchy internet service while on vacation, so I am finally getting to this, thank you, Julie Gong!

Now to the 8 facts about myself -

1.  I hate to make appointments of any kind, doctor’s appointments, hair cuts, car repairs, etc.  I will make them for my kids, but hate to do it for myself.  It is a very bad habit, and I blame it for all the crappy haircuts I’ve had lately, since I end up going to a walk in place.

2.  Every bad relationship I have had has been with a dark haired guy and they even look a lot alike.  In fact, if they were all together it would look like an Italian family reunion. 

3.  I hate using public toilets, and it is not just a cleanliness issue.  Any time that I go to a concert or game and I have to wait in line for the ladies room, when it is finally my turn, I can’t go.  It’s like some kind of perverse performance anxiety – one of the reasons that I’m really glad that I’m not a guy.

4.  My mom always claimed to never drank coffee or beer and said that she never ate a hot dog.  Well, I like all three of those things, so here is my  version – I have never eaten at a Cracker Barrel or Waffle House and I have never consumed any form of jerky product.

5.  I’m a really fast reader.  Seriously.  You can’t beat me.

6.  I’m a Harry Potter nerd.

7.  I have a wicked combination of OCD and ADD.  Which means that I have a really hard time finishing projects.  In my case, cleaning the house or doing dishes. 

8.  I’ve never had a manicure or a pedicure.  Not even when I got married. 

 

back from vacation

Well, we had a great vacation in Corolla, NC – it was very hot, but not nearly as hot as it was here in Charlotte.  I saw a couple funny road signs, but I couldn’t get pictures, hard to do while driving 75 mph… driving from Raleigh to Manteo, there is a long stretch of road thru a swamp -

I would have loved to see a red fox crossing the road!  As for the second, the legality/illegality seems not as important as the stupidity of feeding bears on the side of the road.

Also, a cool search item term this week – “Under the table jobs – Pittsburgh”.   Maybe not as interesting as my first impression….I guess I have a dirty mind.
